As Samsung explains, the Galaxy S22 series will hit the market in a few days with Samsung Wallet, a new "comfortable and secure" application Samsung wallet will allow you to store your identifications, credit cards, passwords, car keys and boarding passes in a single tool. It will also offer the ability to manage "complex digital assets" such as cryptocurrencies.


It is an evolution of Samsung Pay with which the company states that it intends to "simplify the routines of its users", from showing the student card to collecting travel documents before a flight. An alternative to Google Play, in other words.


Samsung ensures that to protect user information, Samsung Wallet has different levels and layers of end-to-end security thanks to the Samsung Knox platform. At the moment, the service has the support of such important partners as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, as well as several brands from the motor world such as Audi, BMW, Porsche, Ford, KIA and Hyundai.


It should be clarified, that Samsung Wallet will be compatible with the entire Galaxy S22 series, it will gradually reach different countries.


The manufacturer also warns that the digital identification function will not be available until the end of this year (and not in all countries), and both the boarding pass function and the access ticket function will be released first in South Korea.
